CSB Partners with CAOMS for the 2025 Conference
The California School for the Blind (CSB) is proud to serve as the host site for the 2025 California Association of Orientation and Mobility Specialists (CAOMS) Northern Conference. This year's event will take place November 14-16, 2025, in Fremont, California, on the CSB campus, in a hybrid format with both in-person and Zoom-based presentations.
2025 CAOMS Conference
This year's conference theme is 'Lean on Us and Grow: Cultivating O&Ms the Person and the Professional'. The theme reflects a deep commitment to nurturing the personal and professional growth of Orientation and Mobility (O&M) Specialists. CSB is honored to partner with CAOMS to bring together O&M professionals, educators, and specialists from across California and beyond.
The 2025 conference will feature:
- Hybrid sessions with live in-person and remote presentations.
- Post-conference access to recorded sessions on the CAOMS website (with presenter permission).
- Opportunities to earn Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation & Education Professionals (ACVREP) Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

- Sessions will cover topics such as emerging technologies, innovative assessment tools, strategies for addressing burnout, collaborative practices, low vision supports, and more.
