Braille Program

All of the classrooms at the California School for the Blind (CSB) teach Braille. Whether beginning, intermediate or advanced, students are instructed in the Unified English Braille Code, and provided materials in braille formats. Textbooks may be electronic and accessed using a refreshable braille display or a more traditional embossed book with multiple volumes. Nemeth code is taught for math and science.
